K-Drama Itaewon Class saw a happy ending, but we still have the Park Sae Ro Yi fever! As if to prove its continuous popularity, Kkulbam Pocha, the motivation behind Danbam and an actual bar run by the original webtoon writer, has been nonstop crowded by the fans of the webtoon and the K-Drama.

If you're a fan of the webtoon and/or the drama, this is a must-visit for you on your travel to Seoul! It's also close to other filming locations of the drama. Let's check out what this talk-of-the-town bar has to offer.

Kkulbam | Review

We arrived on a weekday at around 18:10, 20 minutes prior to its opening. To our surprise, the bar already saw a line of people waiting outside. We were all given out a webtoon coupon per person that we could use on the popular DAUM webtoon app, a nice offer from the bar so that we'd keep ourselves entertained during our wait.

Lifesize cutouts of the main characters from the webtoon are seen by the main door which lots of people took photos with during their wait.

Remember to bring your passport or a valid Korean ID to this place because they always check ID!

The colourful neon lights and the posters from the webtoon set the mood straight for some soju with hearty food.

We ordered pork belly with bean sprouts and the famous soondubu jjigae(soft tofu stew). Can't miss out on the renowned soju and maekju (beer) mix (widely referred to as somaek) right?

Soondubu Jjigae (Soft Tofu Stew) : ￦15,000

Anyone remember the Danbam crew eating their soondubu jjigae? It's one of the most loved dishes at Kkulbam. Pop the egg into the stew once it starts boiling. Try a scoop full of the spicy soft tofu with squid and soup!

Overall, the food was great and the vibe was on point. If you're still in your Itaewon Class/Park Sae Ro Yi phase, this bar is worth a visit! Don't forget to check out other filming locations of the drama while in Itaewon.
