Reservations are not available on the same day, so please make your reservation at least 3 days in advance.
The discount is first-come-first-serve and may be closed early.
If reservations overlap, the lesson may be held together with other people.
Lessons are held in Korean/English.
The allotted lesson time may not be enough, so please arrive on time.
Due to material preparation, a 100% refund is only available until 14 days before the reserved date. No refund is available after that time.

Our Visit
This is the Rami Seoul workshop inside Dongbang Salon. The many different tools organized in an orderly fashion already make you feel at peace.
The leather they use is only from cows that died naturally or were slaughtered for food. The workshop manager is very interested in animal welfare and the environment, so all the materials used are eco-friendly and harmless to the body.
As you can see in the image above, cats walk around the workshop, so don't be surprised! They're friendly to people and so cute that you might get the urge to play with them, but let's try to focus on our craft.
This is the process of burnishing the rough edge of the leather. After spreading the burnishing agent, which is extracted from algae, rub the edge with the wooden stick to create a shiny, smooth edge.
Next is the process of stitching together the leather. Use a hammer and chisel to drill a hole, then tie the string together according to the teacher's instructions. It's a little tough, but mindlessly sewing together the letter put my mind at ease.
The sewing takes longer than you think, and it may be tiring because you have to do several edges. However, the thought that you made it yourself is very fulfilling. The teacher drew dots on each point you have to sew in advance, so don't worry too much about making mistakes!
If you tell them your initials, there's also a process of carving them in yourself. Pick out your favorite font and carve it into the spot you like!
It's finally finished. Both the outside and inside are very neat and stylish. If you travel a lot, I think a passport case would be nice, or card holders would be a safe option!
