Our Visit
Interior: lines of tables and chairs. Tables are big enough so that each customer doesn't feel crammed.
The second floor looks similar to the first floor.
The store is quite big but on the weekends, people wait and line up to get tables. Get your standby number from the machine and wait for a table to open up.
We ordered 2 portions of nak-gop-sae.
*Please note that this store requires one portion order per person and each dish has to have at least 2 portions of order.
This is what two portions of nak-gop-sae looks like. It looks pretty big!
With your order you get side dishes including kimchi, fried anchovies, beansprouts, chives, etc.
Members of Creatrip get one portion of noodle (glass, udon, ramen) or a canned drink(coke, sprite) with the coupon. Show the coupon when ordering and choose one item!
When it's first served, close the lid and wait for it to boil up. When the soup starts boiling, open the lid and mix the sauce in together. Wait 3-4 minutes.
After 3-4 minutes, you can put some of the nak-gop-sae on to your rice and you will have a delicious bite to eat!
It's even more savoury with seaweed and chives.
The small octopus was so tender. 😋
Century Octopus only uses premium Korean beef tripe which tastes exceptionally light. You can also add extra tripe.
*Please order any extra portions of tripe at initial order as it takes the longest to cook.
The sauce had simmered well into the shrimp, so yummy.
Towards the end put your noodle in. You can also ask for more soup if needed.
Look at how shiny the noodle looks! So chewy and delicious. Local Koreans love adding noodles, it kind of is a ritual of ending the meal. 😃
