Our Visit

Around the end of 2018, Egg Drop suddenly burst into existence on South Korea's social media channels, perhaps due to the aesthetic designs of the brand as well as its cheap prices. We couldn't resist and decided to try it out!

Egg Drop has stores everywhere. For an extra 100 KRW, you can get the take-out option; perfect to just grab-and-go and eat it while walking to your next destination.

You punch in your own order at the kiosks at Egg Drop. The kiosks have both Chinese and English instructions, and you can checkout with both cash or credit. It's super easy.

After ordering, you'll get a receipt with your order number. We've decided to try the BBQ and the Sweet Ham Cheese!

BBQ and Sweet Ham Cheese

The egg yolk for the BBQ toast is provided in a separate container so that you can top it yourself. Unfortunately we've failed to top the egg yolk!

The Sweet Ham Cheese is also looking delicious, bursting with the cheese and egg. It's not too sweet, and everything is super smooth and tender. There's nothing special about the bread. For this price, not a bad meal at all!

The BBQ was actually a bit greasier, especially considering the more expensive price. But in all fairness, the toast is really good for the price. It's no wonder Egg Drop came to be so popular on social media!
