Cécica is the oldest hair salon in the Ewha Womans University area, which recently moved to a newer, larger location and renamed it Lee Chul Hairkerker by Cécica. The salon has stayed at Ewha Womans University for so long that it has excellent service and great hairstyling technology.

The consultant is very detailed and enthusiastic about their client's hairstyles. Depending on the length and quality of the hair, they recommend different processes and techniques for customers to leave with the best hair.

Lee Chul Hairkerker by Cécica has a price list in English, for foreigners to take note of.

Pay a deposit (5,000 won for a haircut and 10,000 won for the rest of the services).

Reservations will be confirmed within 1-3 business days.

Things To Keep In Mind

Reservations can be made up to 1 day prior to the date of visit. Reservations will be confirmed within 1-2 business days after deposit payment. 

Cancellation and refund is possible only within 3 days from the reservation date.

You can use the discounted price only by making a reservation through the Creatrip reservation link. Show the clerk your Creatrip reservation link. Show the clerk your Creatrip booking confirmation (excluding cuts). 

The deposit for the cut is ₩5,000 and the deposit for the rest of the procedure is ₩10,000. Please pay the remaining amount excluding the deposit on the spot after the procedure. 

Price may differ from the table above depending on the service received on site or the characteristics of hair. 

Please arrive at the salon 10 minutes prior to your reservation. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment may be canceled and your deposit may not be refunded.

Our Experience 

Now that the seasons are changing, I felt that I needed a change in my hairstyle too. My hair has already been bleached many times and is very damaged.

After searching for different hair salons, I found a place to curl my hair! It's the Lee Chul Hairkerker by Cécica.

The weather was nice and warm and I had high expectations for this place!

When I entered the salon, the first thing that surprised me was the spacious area and bright lights. It was neatly arranged and clean.

I was nicely surprised to see that the floors were very clean and there was no scent of overwhelming hair products.

The staff will come to greet you and take your items to keep in a storage locker. They give you a robe to protect your clothes and skin. 

You will then be seated at a long table in the middle of the salon to discuss what hairstyle and service you'd like. They will advise you in great detail of the conditions of your hair and what you should get to revive them so you can leave satisfied!

Please note that to use this consulting service, you need to book in advance.

After receiving a detailed consultation, I decided to go for the S curl and clinic because my hair is quite damaged and thin. 

Usually, other salons will not let me curl my hair because it's too damaged but I felt confident in their skills! This is my before picture.

They will begin by washing your hair. The shampoo area is located in a separate private space, so I felt very comfortable when they were washing my hair.

The stylist also carefully covers your body with a thin blanket so you don't feel cold, which was very thoughtful!

After washing my hair, the stylist began to cut my hair. They carefully cut quite a bit of my hair!

Next, they helped restore my hair before adding heat. They used a generous amount of hair treatment and reassured me that my hair will be silky smooth and healthy over time.

After 15 minutes of waiting while the treatment set, they washed my hair again. Then they began with the curling process.

The stylist explained what she was doing next in great detail. The machines were also very new and I felt that I was in good hands.

After a long process, we finally reached the final stage! 

You can see that although my hair has been bleached many times, the curls came out nicely!

Since my hair was too damaged, they didn't blow-dry all of my hair. They only dried the top with heat and let the rest air-dry. 

I think this will help avoid the incidence when sometimes your hair only looks beautiful in the salon because of the excessive heat and products that's been applied. 

I learned some useful tips to maintain the beautiful curls, they told me to only dry the upper parts of my hair after I've washed them at home.

As I said before, since my hair is very damaged, they didn't dry it completely. So you can see that some hair strands are still a bit wet.

This is a photo I took about a week after I got my hair done. I didn't blow-dry, style, or did anything special to it. You can see that the curls are still intact and looks natural, right?

I'm surprised that my bleached hair survived the curling process!

How To Get There

Walk out of Ewha Womans University Station exit 1. Lee Chul Hairkerker by Cécica is located 243m from the exit.

Once you exit out of the station, go straight.

Continue walking past Mom's Touch.

You will find Lee Chul Hairkerker by Cécica on the 2nd floor of the building on the right-hand side. 

Enter through the doors and walk up to the 2nd floor.

And voila! You've arrived!
