Today we are going to take you on a trip with us to Dongmyo Flea Market, known as a second-hand vintage market in Korea.

We'll be re-creating some of your favorite looks worn by popular Korean celebrities with a budget of only 10,000 won! 

Let's see what we can find at this iconic second-hand market with a tight budget!

Dongmyo Flea Market is located in the heart of Seoul which makes it a popular area for shopping. 

Right when you exit out of Dongmyo Station exit 3, you will see a huge flea market where G-Dragon, the king of Korean fashion, came here to shop!

On weekends, the market is flooded with people. Besides the elderly, there are also many young people who come here to find vintage goods. 

You can also find many second-hand items such as belts, watches, cameras, and more for very cheap. 

For people that want to take their time shopping around without feeling rushed, we recommend that you come here on a weekday!

There will be fewer people here and you can take your time picking your clothes.

There are stacks of clothes piled up on the floor, so get ready to get down and dig in! Here to prove to you that shopping can indeed be a form of exercise!

Usually, items that are in this pile cost around 2,000 to 3,000 won only. So don't just pass by this pile! You gotta work for the best deals.

Today, we are here to do a challenge, so bring it on!

We started to look for clothes that are similar to those worn by Korean celebrities with our tight budget.

Idol Looks Challenge

1. Sunmi's Short Dress

Sunmi's vintage-style short dress is something that's definitely worth buying. 

Sunmi seems to like wearing vintage clothes. She often wears dresses with cute details and fun colors. 

Do you think we'll be able to find a short dress like this at the Dongmyo Market? 

After walking around many different clothing stores, we finally found a similar outfit! 

Now it may not be identical, but with the long sleeves and dark tones, it's a great dupe, right? 

You're probably wondering how much this cute dress was. Well, it was only 5,000 won!

Since we couldn't find Sunmi's boots, we used a pair of knee-high black socks instead. 

What do you think? Isn't it quite similar?

Who would have believed this whole outfit is only 5,000 won!

2. IU's Red Shirt

This red shirt worn by IU is very easy to find and can be worn in a variety of ways. 

Come with me to get an IU-style shirt at Dongmyo Market!

Walking around a few different stores, we were easily able to find a similar shirt. 

The price was only 5,000 won!

Believe it or not, you can dress like IU for only 5,000 won!

3. HyunA & Jennie's Long Dress

The next look is these long dresses for the summer worn by HyunA and Jennie. 

This dress was very easy to find as well. 

Prices were between 8,000 won and 10,000 won, but if you want to find one even cheaper, there was one option for only 2,000 won!

It may not look completely identical, but it works!

When wearing it out, it looks like HyunA's dress! I don't know about you but I call it a success!

4. Sunmi's Vintage Shirt

As I said earlier, Sunmi wears a lot of vintage clothes. This retro floral print shirt Sunmi wore was so unique we had to recreate it!

We couldn't find the identical vintage floral shirt on the streets so we went over to a vintage clothing store located in the market instead.

Even though it was a little pricier than the clothes on the streets, the quality was great!

The price was still cheap at 8,000 won!

It's quite similar, right? Why would you buy something so expensive if Dongmyo Market has everything for an affordable price?

5. Oh My Girl Seunghee's Floral Shirt

A cute floral shirt is a staple in your closet that will always be in style!

When dressed up, it can make you look like a young fashionable lady in vintage. Come and find a shirt like this with us!

After a long search for the shirt, we finally found one similar!

Even if the colors are different, the style of the shirt looks pretty identical.

We bought this for less than 3,000 won which is so cheap!

Paired with some black jeans, you can recreate her cute style!

6. TWICE IU & Nayeon's White Dress

A white dress is one of the essential summer items as well! Off-the-shoulder dresses and tops have been a trend for quite some time. 

Let's find a white dress like IU and Nayeon that will brighten up your face!

White dresses are easy to find in Dongmyo Market. 

But, since it's white, we have to thoroughly check the clothes as they may have some stains. 

What do you think? Does it look similar to IU and Nayeon's? Looking at this white dress, I immediately thought of TWICE's Dance The Night Away MV. 

This beautiful white dress was only 2,000 won!

7. Sunmi's Flower Dress

Dresses with a lace collar and floral prints come back in trend every summer and spring. Of course, at Dongmyo Market, there are many of these kinds of dresses on sale!

We found a vintage shop at the market which sold the exact dress we wanted.

The dress was on sale too for only 10,000 won!

The lace collar detail looks just like Sunmi's outfit, right?
