Since you are visiting Yeosu you should tour the ocean right? I will introduce Odongdo Island where you can feel the beautiful ocean of Yeosu at once. Odongdo Island is a very well beautiful place that it was selected in the top 100 most beautiful roads in Korea! You will feel like you are truly at Yeosu once you see the ocean.

You will get naturally excited by just looking at the ocean that stretches on forever. If you visit Odongdo Island I recommend you sit on top of the tidal rocks and take beautiful memorable photos. Enjoy the amazing charm of the Yeosu ocean at Odongdo Island!

Yeosu Attractions : 2. Ocean Cable Car

The ocean cable car that a lot of people want to ride when visiting Yeosu. It is a must visit attraction for tourists visiting Yeosu. The ocean cable car has two types of cable cars ready which are the regular cable cars and another crystal cable car which is made out of glass that gives you a thrilling experience. If you enjoy the thrill and don't have a fear of heights, I recommend you ride the crystal cable car!

Inside the cable car, you can see the scenery of Dolsan Bridge on the way down and also pass Geobukseon Bridge which is a symbol of Yeosu.

After the sun goes down, if you ride the cable car you will be able to enjoy a much more beautiful scenery. If you come to Yeosu I strongly recommend you ride this cable car! You will 100% think that it is worth the price.

Yeosu Attractions : 3. HyangIlAm

• Address：전라남도 여수시 돌산읍 향일암로 60

HyangIlAm, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Yeosu is a buddhist temple located in Geumo Mountain and is a national treasure built during the Silla Dynasty. (Year 644)

To arrive at HyangIlAm you have to go up a forest road but it is not a hard road so you will be able to go up the road. Once you go up you will be able to see a vast landscape scenery in front of your eyes.

On your way up, you will be able to see cute statues like this. You will arrive at HyangIlAm after just around a 10 minute walk.

Once you come up to Hyangilam, you will be able to see a beautiful scenery from the various lanterns in different colors!

Make sure you visit, HyangIlAm a representative attraction. :)

Yeosu Attractions : 4. Romantic Pocha Street

The best way to end the romantic atmosphere in Yeosu would be to visit the Romantic Pocha street. It is a street that is full of Pocha's that are lined up. Pocha's are tent-style restaurants in Korea that a locals love to go and drink and enjoy street food.

You can meet a fancy night of Yeosu that you were not able to see during the day. This is a place where they sell fresh Yeosu seafood. You can also listen to various artists busking in the streets! Enjoy the amazing combination of fresh seafood and music!

Starting October 2019, the Romantic Pocha Street has moved its place from Jongpo Marine Park to under the Geobukseon Bridge.

Yeosu Attractions : 6. Aqua Planet Yeosu

Yeosu Aqua Planet is the second biggest aquarium in Korea after Jeju Aqua Planet.

You can see the Beluga Whale here which is the mascot of Yeosu Aqua Planet and is a very rare animal.

There are also various unique experiences available such as Doctor Fish. It is an aquarium full of fun sights and activities.

There are a lot of sights you can see including a large water tunnel and aquarium, if you visit Yeosu it would be great to spend around half your day at Yeosu Aqua Planet!

Yeosu Attractions : 7. Dolsan Bridge Night View

Yeosu's night view is so pretty that some people visit Yeosu just for their night view. One of the best places that is famous for their night view in Yeosu is the Dolsan Bridge.

You can see the night view through the ocean cable car or from Dolsan Park or the Yi Sun-Sin courtyard. The night view is pretty no matter where you see it from. If you visit Yeosu, make sure to see the night view of Dolsan Bridge!

The first cafe I will introduce in Yeosu is Cafe Jakgeum which is a beautiful cafe with a great ocean view. The name of the cafe means the "best art is you right now".

This is the view that can be seen from inside. You can see the ocean that stretches endlessly from inside. I think that this cafe has the best view from inside when thinking about all the cafes I ever visited.

When the weather is good you can drink coffee at the sofas located outside while looking at the ocean. Don't you think that the atmosphere is great?

Cafe Jakgeum's main menu item is the Jakgeum Mojito which has lime and apple mint inside. The price may be a little bit expensive being 8,900KRW but once you look at the ocean and enjoy your drink you will think that the price was worth it!

If you can only visit one cafe in Yeosu, I recommend you come here to Cafe Jakgeum!

ROSTIA is a good cafe with a great ocean view.

This is the ocean from inside ROSTIA. I think that there are many beautiful cafes in Yeosu.

If you come up to the second floor, you can look at the ocean while lying down on the sofas. The terrace on the second floor has a great view and the sofas are really comfortable making it always be full! If any seats are open make sure to take it!

Yeosu Cafe : Cafe Bimi

There is a cafe in Yeosu that has really got the attention of tourists out of all the various cafes in Yeosu! This cafe is Cafe Bimi located in the Angel Mural Village of Goso-dong. It is a place that I had the highest expectations for out of all the cafes and attractions. As soon as I opened the door, the cafe interior was amazing with a straight view of Dolsan bridge being available which went well with the overall atmosphere of the cafe.

Drinking coffee at a place with a great scenery made the coffee taste even better. I recommend this cafe to people planning to go to Yeosu. Coming to Cafe Bimi is a must when visiting Yeosu!

People packed in a small store! You might wonder what do they sell here that there are so many people waiting in line!

This place is Yeosudang which sells handmade baguette burgers and mugwort ice cream. Although they sell baguette burgers, I recommend you try the mugwort ice cream.

The mugwort ice cream of Yeosudang which has a cute visual! The savory taste of mugwort with the sweet taste of ice cream makes a great combination!

You can only taste mugwort ice cream at Yeosudang so make sure you try it when you visit :)
