Very traditional aesthetic, futon are unusual for us (European) but we sleept like babies!!!
Comfy small room with private bathroom and beautiful surroundings.
I suggest to take a room with this very kind host and enjoy the city around!!!

My mom, aunt, and I had our first Hanok stay at Salangroo and were so pleased with the experience. The owners could not speak English, so they prepared a written document with helpful instructions for our visit. We stayed in a four-person suite which was very neat, and serene. The bedding though thin, was comfortable and clean. (You can request additional bedding for a small fee but we were all okay for one night). It got a bit cold at night but the floor heaters helped to warm us up. The best part about our stay was the location; it’s located on the south edge of Jeonju’s Hanok Village, away from all the shops, so it was a really quiet sleep. I highly recommend anyone visiting to stay here!

In general, our traditional Hanok accommodation was a delightful experience. The heated floors and comfortable futon provided a cozy setting. While we weren't certain if we could manage staying in this type of accommodation for a whole week, it was just perfect for a few days. Additionally, the location was ideal as it was within close proximity to numerous shops and restaurants.

Great place to stay in case you visit junju. The room was clean and well heated during winter. It was a good experience. Plus it's in the village and only few mins away from every thing you need.

The room was ok size and the futon bedding was fairly comfortable
The owners who run the business were very friendly and attentive and the breakfast they provided was decent
