I also bought this chocolate cake in Jeonju, it ’s really delicious
Do you know what the world's most famous sweets are? It's called choco pie. Jeonju is famous for being one of the top five bakeries in Korea. Pungnyeon Confectionery (PNB). Originally, this shop was selling senbei rather than choco pie. In 1951, the store was built on the word of mouth today, starting with the founder's own grilled senba, loaded on a bicycle, and sold. After succeeding three generations for more than 60 years, the company has accidentally made homemade choco pies. Homemade choco pies are sold on an average of more than 10,000 per day today, and anyone who visits Jeonju buys them. Original Choco Pie combines the sweetness of soft cream, the freshness of strawberry jam, and the handmade chocolates, making it a deep flavor that is incomparable with traditional chocolate pastries. Originally, there were only original homemade chocolate pies and white chocolate pies, but recently, cheese chocolate pies, strawberry chocolate pies and green tea chocolate pies are also popular. In addition to choco pies, breads such as senbei and vise are also popular. (Please try our tasting corners such as senbe and tax at the restaurant!)
A delicious way to eat homemade choco pies is to keep them cool in the fridge and eat them with milk or coffee.
The shelf life is 15 days from the date of manufacture.
In addition to the main store, there are stores in Hanok Village and Jeonju Station. Many stores impersonate PNB, so be sure to check the PNB logo.
