More Than Friends | Complete List Of Filming Locations From The Drama
10-4 Hours: 10:00-22:00 Closed on the second Tuesday and Wednesday of every month This is a real restaurant in Jeju. Lee Soo and Woo-Yeon come here to eat noodles, which is a really popular menu item here. Actually, this restaurant is well-known in the area for it's simple but delicious traditional Korean meals. Some consider it to be a little on the expensive side, but the prices are well worth it. 4062 Hours: Closed for the entire month of December In the drama, this is where Joon-Soo and Woo-Yeon meet. I didn't really like this plot line, but at least the bookstore is beautiful. I would strongly suggest checking out their page! It is a complex bookstore tucked away in the countryside that sells many souvenirs from around Jeju Island. It is also a place to promote the arts and culture of Jeju Island. If you usually pass by this kind of shop, you may not pay much attention. But the drama made it look interesting and worth a look! 28 This is the most famous scene of More than Friends. It is also one of the must-visit attractions in Jeju Island. This is where Lee Soo and Woo-Yeon meet again. Many people are impressed with the scenery around this location. Walking on the high mountain line, you can overlook the beautiful landscape. It is a natural landscape that has become more popular because of Korean dramas. Getting here is not that easy. Buses in Jeju are infrequent and come once every 30 minutes or so. However, they do have a drop off right outside this location. There is a winding path that takes you up to the peak of the small mountain. There is also a path along the entire ridge over 200 meters long that allows you to see for miles in every direction. You can see all the way to the sea. 37 Everyone is probably familiar with this area. It's Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul. Typically, you would never be able to find the street as totally empty as was shown in the drama. However, due to the pandemic, the streets are now always this empty. Although traveling to Korea has become increasingly more difficult, dramas like More Than Friends are keeping our hopes alive to see these tourist locations bustling once again. We can live vicariously and imagine ourselves there. 1597 In this scene, Lee Soo paid tribute to other popular dramas and delivered a cliche romantic line. But people might not have been paying attention because they were too distracted by the beautiful scenery of Jumunjin Port and the East Sea in the background. I've taken photos here in the past. And I can assure you that it is even more beautiful in real life than in the show. The road runs along the coast and you can see far off into the horizon on the sea. There is a popular beach nearby and you can see fishing boats off the coast at night. 257-4 Woo-Yeon loves to drink. So when she went out for a few drinks and Lee Soo has to carry her home piggyback style, we can see the artsy alleys of . Record of Youth, a popular drama in Korea, also filmed scenes here. Does seeing the streets of Hongdae and Yeonnam-dong make you miss traveling to Seoul? Nowadays, the streets of Hongdae feel as far away as ever. All we can do now is relive our favorite memories of traveling by watching dramas. EULJIRO 을지로 Address: 서울 중구 을지로3가 was an important place in both the historical and the early development periods of Seoul. But now, it can't keep up with the speed of development seen in other areas. As a result, The alleys and lanes by the streets have also become the epitome of the old Seoul. There is an unexpected beauty in this part of town that seems stuck in time. Have you ever visited Euljiro and experienced the true local Seoul? This used to be an industrial part of town. So there are still a lot of manufacturing paraphernalia laying around that juxtapose with the technological wonder of the rest of the city. So if you're ever hanging out here, be like Lee Soo, take out your camera and capture the moment. 433-6 (old address) It serves as a very important location in More Than Friends. It is also part of a restaurant opened by P.O, a rapper and actor from the group Block B. It is located very close to another really popular restaurant in Seoul known as . Koreans say that this is mainly a check-in point, not any actual functional place. People who come to the area are mostly there to visit Old Mullae and can see this on the way. The beautiful atmosphere created by the small light bulbs at night is really unforgettable. 28 Many people can recognize this place from the moment they see it. In the drama, Lee Soo played a game with Woo-Yeon here. It is a located in the alleys of the neighborhood to the West of Gyeongbokgung Palace. In addition to the novel claw machine, there are also many retro games to play. Take a look at Lee Soo's tragic face... Many tourists have come to Gyeongbokgung Palace and then looked for the location of the game room. Not only can you play games and have a good time here, but you can also take some killer instagram photos with the neon lights. This completes our list of some of the best-looking filming locations in More Than Friends. Even if the ratings didn't reflect well on the series, hopefully the beautiful set pieces inspire people to visit some of these locations. ...

The Uncanny Counter | Complete List of Filming Locations
will see wooden decor in Japanese style. Perhaps you'll find a real spiritual realm someplace near this cafe. Head to this cafe to see the original hideout of the drama. (This cafe is currently closed) SINDURI BEACH In the first episode, So Mun settles into bed and has a strange dream. He awakes on a beach where he meets a spirit named Wi-Gen. The fairytale-like scene was shot at Sinduri Beach in Taean-gun. The actual location really emulates a similar tone and color to the drama. With its calming atmosphere, come and take a look. 1 Jungjin is a fictional city and does not exist in Korea. However, the scene of Jungjin Mayor in real list is Wonju City Hall. It is not a popular area, and it may be unfamiliar to most, but there is a fun attraction nearby. It is near the Sogeumsan Suspension Bridge (Ganhyeon Rocking Bridge). The Korean drama, , was also filmed in this area. Later, I might write about a travel itinerary to Wonju! 17 Hours: Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00 In Jungjin City, the mayor declares the development of a river. The river they use is the Bukhan River in Namyangju city. It's close to the Chuncheon Stream, which is also visible. Dongwha Culture Village is actually a facility where large scale conferences and weddings are held. If you stay here, then you'll wake up to the beautiful view of the Bukhan River. It's a great stay. I think anyone who has seen this drama should definitely come and visit. 26 After regaining his ability to walk again, he excitedly runs through the park before class. He evens learns to do a little parkour. Does the place look recognizable to you? Well, this is West Seoul Lake Pack in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. It's a recreational park for locals. Why not come and visit and pretend to run around like Mun? 54-35 In the very last scene of The Uncanny Counter, the battle of the spirits begins with our four characters in a dark alleyway. This location seemed familiar to me. It happened to be , which is where I used to live near. This area is known for its steel factories and their local cafe street. Isn't it hard to imagine that this is where our ending scene filmed? It was originally an old steel mill, but many of the factories closed down now. Most places turned into hip cafes, and many young artists moved into the area. Although the general city facilities are still not aesthetic, you can still find many cafes and a full young crowd during the holidays. Dramas like and were also filmed near this area. 24 There's a famous scene in the first episode where So Mun lights up like lightning because of the spirit, Wi-Gen. After gaining the power of Counter, his hair becomes super voluminous. Isn't his hair absolutely amazing? In this scene, they're at Western Dom in Ilsan. It's a local business community in Gyeonggi-do. If you're a fan of , you'll also see the filming location of W. DOOKKI WESTERN DOM BRANCH 39 In the first episode of the drama, So Mun and his friends eat at a tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) place in Western Dom. It might be a product placement scene. I have personally eaten this often, and it's cheap and delicious. There are actually multiple locations outside of Korea as well. But I do recommend you to come to Korea to taste their tteokbokki. Have a firsthand taste of their delicious and cheap food here. Compared to other Korean drama that usually focuses on aesthetically-pleasing cafes, restaurants, and landscapes, The Uncanny Counter doesn't put too much effort into it. It may not be the most "Instagrammable" places, but these are classic locations with authentic local vibes that make up this drama. We look forward to the second season and what will spark then!...

Vincenzo l A List Of Filming Locations For You To Visit
39 Namedaemun-ro 5-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul Hours: 10:00-17:00 Mon: Closed SHAKE SHACK CHEONGDAM 쉐이크쉑 청담점 Do you remember the scene in episode 9 where Jang Joon-Woo is eating a burger by himself? Where is this place where Jang Joon-Woo enjoyed eating a burger? It was Shake Shack at the Cheongdam location! Shake Shack is an American fast food chain restaurant. The first location in Korea opened at Gangnam Station, and it was so popular. This location in Cheongdam, which opened in 2016, was the second branch to open in Korea. As soon as you walk in, you'll be greeted by Shake Shack employees standing behind a long counter. This is where you can place your order. When your order is ready, you can pick it up here. The Shake Shack at Cheongdam is very spacious and clean. Due to its bright and urban interior, this place doesn't feel like your average fast food restaurant. There was a huge screen on one wall that played cool ads and fun promotional videos for Shake Shack. This is the seat next to the window where Jang Joon-Woo sat down and ate. I decided to have my meal sitting at this table like Jang Joon-Woo! ShackBurger 6,900 won Cola 2,700 won The ShackBurger is Shake Shack's signature burger. It's a beef patty that comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. I heard that the burgers here were really delicious, so I was looking forward to eating this. As soon as I took my first bite, I could tell that this burger was different. The quality of the ingredients was so good. The patty was juicy and had lots of flavor. If you like burgers, then I think you'll enjoy Shake Shack. I could feel the presence of Jang Joon-Woo as a I ate my burger. Haha. Address: 서울특별시 강남구 신사동 도산대로 327 327 Dosan-daero, Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul Hours: 11:00-22:00 COMMON GROUND AT KONKUK UNIVERSITY 건대 커먼그라운드 This next place called Common Ground is where Vincenzo and Hong Cha-Young talked over sandwiches and coffee in episode 5. Common Ground, which is located at Konkuk University, was Korea's first container shopping mall. This space, which is made up of blue shipping containers, is a popular place to visit because it has many shops and restaurants. Like Vincenzo and Hong Cha-Young, I had a relaxing time here drinking coffee. If you'd like to learn more about Common Ground, please click . This next location is where Hong Cha-Young and Jang Joon-Woo ate ice cream together in episode 3 of Vincenzo. In the background of this scene, you can see the green and light beige container boxes of Understand Avenue. Understand Avenue is a creative cultural space located right next to Seoul Forest. The name of this space comes from its intention of helping those who are "under" to be able to "stand" on their own. Hence the name Understand Avenue. The goal of this cultural space is to support teenagers, young artists, and people who are socially disadvantaged. There are 116 containers in this complex, including clothing shops, restaurants, and cafes. There's even a flea market on the weekends. If you go up these stairs, this is the exact spot where Hong Cha-Young and Jang Joon-Woo stood! Like the characters, I took a picture with the blue sky and the cloth banners in the background. If you are planning to visit Seoul Forest, be sure to stop by Understand Avenue as well. Understand Avenue is located right in front of Seoul Forest Station, so it's very easy to find. In episode 5, Vincenzo, Hong Cha-Young, and Jang Joon-Woo visit a restaurant and eat spicy jjamppong. Here, Vincenzo and Jang Joon-Woo continue to add chili oil to their jjamppong to see who can eat the spicier jjamppong! This funny scene takes place at Gugudang, a fusion restaurant located near Gangnam Station. This famous restaurant rose in popularity even before Vincenzo was filmed here. Gugudang is located between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station, so it's easy to get here. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you can see where Vincenzo and Jang Joon-Woo sat to recuperate from eating their spicy jjamppong. This area is actually used as a waiting area. Because Gugudang is such a popular restaurant, there is always a long wait to get in. Even though I visited after the lunch rush on a weekday, there was still a bit of a wait. The interior of the restaurant was inspired by China. I think this would be a great place to come with friends or on a date because the vibe here was really cool. I wanted to eat the spicy jjamppong dish that the characters ate, but unfortunately, this item wasn't on the menu. Instead, I ordered the Hong Kong pasta. Hong Kong Pasta 16,900 won This is the signature dish at Gugudang. Although the menu item was different, the bowl looked the same. This dish featured pasta, steak, bok choy, and tree ear mushrooms in a thick, creamy sauce. Doesn't it look delicious? I was curious as to what this dish would taste like. This dish tasted a lot like rosé pasta but with a spicy kick! The flavor combination of the cream sauce and chili oil was delicious. Why don't you have a spicy food match like Vincenzo and Jang Joon-Woo did at Gugudang? In episode 4, this is the place where Hong Cha-Young persuaded Vincenzo to take down the law firm and the Babel Group. This is Adult Grand Park located near Hongdae. The name of this bar is a play off of the name of a Seoul amusement park for children, Children's Grand Park. I felt like I was at an amusement park when I visited here. Adult Grand Park has a nostalgic feel to it reminding its customers of their childhood days. The whole restaurant is decorated with old movie posters and signs. We sat by the window just like Vincenzo and Hong Cha-Young did! It was nice to see the scenery of Hongdae. These were the bookcases that were behind Hong Cha-Young in the above scene. This place was full of retro props. It was fun to look at them all. I laughed out loud when I saw the menu in the shape of a board game! It reminded me of the games that I used to play as a child. Rosé Chicken 19,500 won Adult Draft Beer 4,000 won We ordered their most popular menu items, the Rosé Chicken and an Adult Draft Beer. Fusion menu items made with rosé sauce are especially popular here in Korea. The crispiness and saltiness of the fried chicken paired really nicely with the rosé sauce. There was also some pasta in this dish. This bottle is so unique, don't you think? This bottle is the glass bottle that Korea's most famous milk brand, Seoul Milk, used before the 1980s. I had heard stories from my parents and seen pictures of this bottle, but I had never seen one in person before. It was so much fun to drink beer from it! I highly recommend that you visit Adult Grand Park. Address: 서울특별시 마포구 합정동 410-31 410-31 Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul Hours: 15:00-5:00 (weekdays) 14:00-5:00 (weekends) GRANDPA FACTORY IN SEONGSU-DONG 성수 할아버지 공장 In episode 4, Vincenzo takes Hong Cha-Young to a cafe. Vincenzo drinks an espresso while Hong Cha-Young drinks an iced americano. This scene took place at Grandpa Factory, which is a beautiful cafe located in Seongsu-dong near Seoul Forest. Grandpa Factory is a huge art gallery cafe. Even though this place is always packed, there isn’t that much of a wait because there are so many seats available here. The second floor has various works of art on display. So, if you want to enjoy a cup of coffee while looking at some art, you can do so on the second floor of this cafe. The terrace on the roof is also a popular place at Grandpa Factory. This area is particularly nice on sunny days. The most popular place at Grandpa Factory though has to be the courtyard where Vincenzo and Hong Cha-Young sat! I also decided to spend some time here like Vincenzo and Hong Cha-Young did. The treehouse in the middle of the courtyard and the colorful chairs in the seating area gave this space a whimsical feel. Shrimp Guacamole Sandwich 17,000 won Cold Brew Dirty Einspanner 8,000 won I ordered the shrimp guacamole sandwich and a Cold Brew Dirty Einspanner. The prices were a little expensive, but I felt that it was worth it to be able to enjoy this space. The sandwich had guacamole, shrimp, eggs, tomatoes, and greens on top of a thick slice of bread. It was delicious and filling. The Cold Brew Dirty Einspanner is the signature drink at Grandpa Factory. It had the right amount of sweetness. If you would like to learn more about Grandpa Factory in Seongsu-dong, please click . 9 9 Seongsui-ro 7-ga-gil, 1-dong, Seongsu 2-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul Hours: 11:00-22:30 So, what did you think? I really enjoyed this drama, so I had a great time visiting all of the filming sites. This weekend, I'm going to binge watch Vincenzo reflecting on my memories of visiting all of these places. Be sure to add these places to your wish list when you visit Seoul. If there are any filming locations from other dramas that you would like to see, please let us know in the comments below. Thank you for joining me on my Vincenzo tour across Seoul!...
