No deposit is required, but you will need to leave a form of ID (passport, foreign registration card) during your rental.
If you wish to add additional items to your reservation, please pay on-site.
If you have made a reservation for a 1-day rental, you must return it before the business hours end.
Each person will have 30 minutes to try on 2 sets of Hanboks. In case of exceeding the allotted time, the overtime will be included in the rental duration.
If you return the Hanbok late, you will be charged an additional 1,000 KRW per 10 minutes for the Traditional Hanbok and 2,000 KRW per 10 minutes for the Theme Hanbok. (on-site payment)
You may need to wait for the hairstyling service.
Makeup and photography services are not provided.
Hanbok sizes are available from 12 months for infants. Hanbok sizes range from XS to XL. You can check the exact sizes on-site. (Female size: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL / Male size: S, M, L, XXL)
Hanbok sizes are available for women from 44 to 99 and for men from 90 to 115.
Customers are responsible for lost or damaged accessories or locker keys and must pay for them. (on-site payment)
Please be aware that additional charges may apply if the Hanbok is damaged or stained. (on-site payment)

Hanboknam has three locations: Gyeongbokgung branch, Changdeokgung branch, and Jeonju Hanok Village branch. The Gyeongbokgung branch we visited today is located right in front of Gyeongbokgung Station, making it especially accessible. All the Hanboks at Hanboknam are designed in-house and they regularly reflect the latest trends. They produce new Hanboks every season, resulting in a wider variety of Hanbok styles compared to other stores.
First, leave your ID and exchange it for a locker key. Leave heavy belongings in the locker!
You have up to 30 minutes to choose a Hanbok you like! You can try on up to two sets of Hanboks per person, giving you plenty of opportunities to find the Hanbok you want.
You can use the vanity to fix your hair and makeup.
Furthermore, if you rent a hanbok from Hanboknam, you can get free hair styling! You don't have to worry about how to style your hair. The hair styling service is free, but if you want to use additional hair accessories, you will need to pay an extra fee.
When you store your luggage in a locker, it can be cumbersome to carry around personal items like your mobile phone and wallet. What you need in such cases is a traditional bag that matches the Hanbok. The rental fee is only a few thousand KRW, and it's super cute to carry around with the Hanbok!
In addition to this, the Hanboknam Gyeongbokgung branch has various photo zones set up inside, making it a great place to take pictures with different concepts.
