Seoul Station is one of Korea’s main transportation hubs. With direct access to the Airport Railroad to Incheon and Gimpo airports, Subway Lines 1 and 4, and KTX and intercity buses to major cities across the country, it’s incredibly easy to get anywhere from here.
But Seoul Station isn’t just a place to catch a train or stop by Lotte Mart. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafés nearby that are well worth a visit. In this guide, I’ll share some of the best places to eat around Seoul Station!

Another popular barbecue spot near Seoul Station, National Hall, is known for its thinly sliced pork belly. The highlight is the fresh, tender meat, just a sprinkle of pepper and some grilled vegetables make it even fresher and less greasy.
The restaurant’s nostalgic atmosphere gives you a cozy, old-school vibe, reminiscent of the drama Reply series. Fun fact: the Korean variety show Running Man has even filmed here!

- Address: 18-1, Cheongparo 93-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul

- How to Get There: Seoul Station Exit 15

Seoul Station Spicy Rice Cakes immediately catches your eye with its bright red exterior. Inside, you’ll find retro posters and old-school decorations that add to its charm. The shop is quite small, with only three tables, so it’s best to avoid peak mealtimes unless you don’t mind waiting.
Prices are reasonable, and the tteokbokki has a balanced level of spice with a slightly sweet flavor, making it approachable even for those who don’t handle spicy food well. For a more filling meal, order a mini seaweed rice roll on the side—it pairs perfectly with the rice cakes.

11. NAMYEONGDON

Take one more stop from Seoul Station to reach Namyeong Station. Nearby, you’ll find Namyeongdon, often mentioned as one of Korea’s top three barbecue restaurants and in business for over 30 years. During mealtimes, there’s almost always a long line.
What makes it special is the use of traditional charcoal grills, which give the meat a deep, smoky aroma. While prices are on the higher side, it’s absolutely worth it in my opinion.
12. PASSION DO MEAT
- Address: 55, Baekbeom-ro 87-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
