The Flower of Evil was a drama that captured everyone's attention and had us all binge-watching episode after episode. Each episode has more twists and cliffhangers than the last. Alas, the drama has concluded, wrapping up its interesting and addicting storyline.

Aside from the story, the cinematography is also awe-inspiring. Each location and set-piece really brings out the subtle beauty of each spot in Seoul. Here is a list of some of those locations so that you can find them in real life and compare them to what you've seen in the drama. 

Jaha Super (자하슈퍼)

Viewers who watch The Flower of Evil should immediately recognize this street corner.

Originally, this supermarket was called Jaha Supermarket, but they changed the name for filming. The loneliness of the street corner was maintained well and visiting here can emulate the feeling of isolation it exudes in the drama.

Just as seen in the drama, there are cherry blossoms in the neighborhood that bloom in the spring. 

Giljeong Fishing Station (길정YB민물낚시터)

Address: 인천 강화군 양도면 길정리 산201

In the fifth episode of the series there is a scene where a taxi driver kidnaps Do Hyun-soo's character. The scene plays out in front of the fishing village in Ganghwa, Incheon.

You can visit the same village on your next trip to Incheon, but you should probably visit during the day time to experience the beauty.

Sewoon Bridge (세운교)

This scene from the second episode is easily recognizable. It takes place near the Cheonggyecheon Stream in Jongno-gu.

If you want to visit the nearby mall or take a stroll alongside the stream, this is a great location to recreate scenes from the show. 

Seondabang (선다방)

Address: 서울 종로구 팔판동 132-1

Seondabang's location is very near other popular neighborhoods in Seoul, Samcheong-dong and Gyeongbokgung Palace.

In the drama, it is where some characters live. In real life, it is a boutique art gallery.

This building has unique architecture and stands out against the other buildings around it. 

This particular location gets rented out a lot to film scenes for dramas and movies, so it's possible that you could see a film crew there when you visit. So you can rest in one of the nearby cafes and enjoy the process!

Seogang Bridge (서강대교)

This beautiful driving scene takes place on Seogang Bridge, connecting Yeouido to the other side of the river. It's also a very scenic bridge to walk across if you don't have a car.

Ansan CafeFun (안산 카페펀)

Address: 경기 안산시 상록구 석호공원로 73

In the second episode, Baek Hee-sung brings his daughter, Baek Eun-ha, to this cafe, which is located in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province. Ansan is very close to Seoul and has a city-vibe without the traffic.

Eunpyeong Buggyeongwon (은평 북경원)

The murder scene in the third episode takes place at Buggyeongwon, a Chinese restaurant located near Yeonsinnae Station.

The Yeonsinnae area is not particularly popular among tourists, so many people might not be privy to this restaurant or the neighborhood at large. However, it is definitely worth a trip!

BARMENT

Address: 서울 마포구 동교로 140-8

In the ninth episode, the whiskey bar that Baek went to alone is BARMENT, a bar located between Hongdae and Hapjeong stations.

The atmosphere is very retro and the interior decor is loved by many people. If you visit, you can feel like you're in a movie.

Visiting in real life doesn't have the same tension that was present in the scenes from the drama, so don't worry. You can sit right where the actors sat and recreate the scene with your best friend! 

Although the ratings for the finale weren't as good as expected, The Flower of Evil was still an exciting and worthwhile drama to watch and enjoy.
