Located close to the bustling business district and the fun-filled Lotte World area, Songlidan-gil is a hidden gem that offers tranquillity from small but stylish restaurants and cafes.
We visited a Swedish cafe that opened its doors not too long ago. Their passion for quality coffee and delicious desserts (and not to mention the calm, comfortable upstairs area) made for a wholesome experience. How to Get There
Just a 5-minute walk from Songpanaru Station exit 1.
From Songpanaru Station exit 1, walk about 300m straight.
When you reach the sign that says Baekjaegobun-ro 43-gil, make a right.
Walk about 80m and you'll see bjorklunds on your left.

Right when we walked in, we saw a huge seating area with small tables distributed throughout, the wooden interior gave it a very natural, warm feeling.
We enjoyed that the menu had visual effects to it, the brownies and the classic bread set were displayed on the counter. Such a great way of presenting their specialty desserts!
The tea samples were also available. We especially loved the scent of Black Bjorklunds Blend.
There's something visually appeasing about a beautiful coffee machine and neatly stacked cups.
We ordered our drinks and were told it would take about 10 minutes because they drip their coffee fresh on the spot. We decided to take a look around the place while waiting.
WE loved that each floor served different functions. The first floor is for talking and relaxing, while the second floor is a no-talk zone strictly for enjoying the art exhibitions and reading books.
The upstairs had a similar comfortable wooden interior, with tables and chairs by the window and different rooms with more seatings and art exhibitions. The relaxing music set the perfect mood for reading and kicking back.
There was also a nook with a long built-in desk for studying and reading.
After viewing the art exhibitions, we came back downstairs to pick up our drinks.
From left to right:
Stadshagen - Swedish drip coffee (6,500KRW): Stadshagen had a very sour kick to its flavour. The fans of sour coffee would love it! ☕️
Green Tea Frappe (6,500): Sweet with a slight bitter flavour from the matcha nicely balanced with milk. If you're looking for a sweeter option while staying away from coffee, Green Tea Frappe is a great one!
Rooibos Lemongrass (6,000KRW): The tea tasted lighter than when I smelled the sample. Regardless, it gave me a great hint of warmth on a cold winter day. Other tea samples also smelled great, so I'll definitely be going back for more.
