There are three stores of Andong Jjimdak in Myeongdong. You can refer to the map above to find directions. We went to the flagship store and it was 3 stories high, and it is still filled with people at meal time. So we chose 11:30 when not much people would be there.

Because there are three floors and lots of seats there are plenty of rooms. But, I recommend if you are traveling in large numbers you might not find the right seat. 

Also, on third floor you need to take your shoes off.

Menu is available in English, Chinese, and Japanese, so don't worry about ordering. If you visit between 11:30~17:00 there are lunch menus, but only on weekdays! Since I visited with 2 friends, I ordered middle size Jjimdak and two bowls of rice.

In less than 10 minutes main menu was served. Once I smelled the chicken, I couldn't help myself from digging in. I was a bit afraid about gaining weight, though.

Can you see the peppers? If you can't eat spicy food, tell the staff in advance to make it less hot!

If you think it's too spicy you can drink radish soup to relieve the spice, and it will also stimulate your appetite.

The taste was smoother than I expected. The chicken and noodle was very soft and it went really well with rice.

There is also a Jjimdak menu with seafood. The amount of chicken is a bit small, but if you like seafood, you should definitely try it out!

If you like spicy food Andong Jjimdak Myeongdong branch is recommended. It's a chain store and the quality is guaranteed. Enjoy your time in Korea!
