 Wonjo Seoul Samgyetang is located on the way from Nampo Station to Gwangbokro Fashion Street, the Downtown of Busan. It's close to the station and very easily accessible.
The name "Seoul" Samgyetang seems a little weird in Busan, but they say they chose this name because they prepare their chicken in a way that used to be popular in Seoul.

I ordered the restaurant's specialty, Samgyetang. Before the meal, they served us insam-ju, which is an alcohol that has a strong scent of ginseng. It isn't very bitter so it goes down easily, but watch out, because it's as strong as soju! You can drink up to 2 bottles for free.   

The Samgyetang is finally here! It's a light chicken broth with one whole boiled chicken. They say this restaurant's secret to their amazing flavor is the broth made with various ingredients like ginseng, dates, chestnuts, ginkgo nuts, and sticky rice.   

You can also enjoy the noodles with the broth. The broth hasn't been seasoned, so you can season to your taste with salt and pepper. I don't like eating salty, so I only had salt and pepper with my chicken meat. The broth already had a deep flavor that didn't need much seasoning.

The meat is soft and tender, so you can easily tear it into bite sizes. I could enjoy the light flavor of Samgyetang with kimchi instead of seasoning with salt and pepper. 

I ended up quickly finishing the whole dish...

Considering that a whole chicken goes into Samgyetang, along with many healthy ingredients, the price seems quite reasonable! After the meal, they serve cinnamon tea, so make sure not to leave before tasting the tea. The scent of cinnamon might not be for everyone, but the flavor wasn't too strong, so I enjoyed it.
