Pyeongchang is the place where 2018 Winter Olympics was held! It is 700M above sea level, and famous for its cold weather and snow.

In winter time, the river freezes, and the ice fishing above the frozen river is a popular activity not only to locals but for travelers as well.

Trout only lives in cold and clean water. It is delicious when fried, or raw sashimi is just as good. You can taste the fish you caught on site at a super low price. If you couldn't catch any fish you can purchase one at 15,000KRW, so don't worry   But it would feel much better if you could catch one by yourself, right? 

You can take two fishes per day, per person! I hope you catch a big one~

After you have enjoyed the ice fishing you will come to Yongpyong resort and check-in to Tower Condo or Blisshill Stay.

For company up to 4 people will stay in Tower Condo, and for company up to 6 people you will stay in Blisshill Stay. Whether it is a bed room or ondol room could vary according to the day's reservation status.

3. Yongpyong Cable Car Tour

Korean Gangweon-do has heavy snow in winter time, and the mountain areas are perfect for skiing. Among those ski resorts, Yongpyong stands out with its beauty, and is used as drama set a lot.

"Guardian: The Lonely and Great God"

"Winter Sonata" which has started the Korean wave, and recent "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God"  was filmed here. Looking for places you have seen on the drama is another way to enjoy your stay here. 

Ride the cable car and look at the beautiful mountains below your feet. Even if you do not ride ski it will be a beautiful memory just to fly upon the snow white mountains. 

4. Yongpyong Ski Slope

Yongpyong resort is one of the pioneers of the ski resorts in Korea. After the cable car ride you can enjoy skiing for other half of the day. 

Even if you are beginner and afraid to ride the ski, you can get basic lessons on how to ride the skis so don't worry and just enjoy! 

There are lots of slopes according to your level. If you want to reserve on site it would be much more expensive so reserve before your trip through Creatrip!
