Why We Recommend It 

There are three branches of Gabaedo which is located in Seoul. Out of these branches, the Gangnam branch is the most popular to locals and foreigners.

With a total of two floors it is spacious and has a retro-style interior making it attractive to stay and take photos at.

The desserts of Gabaedo follow the style of the cafe in being simple but the taste of these desserts are really tasty.

Things to Keep In Mind

When entering, each person must at least order one drink or dessert item.

Children can enter the cafe but there are a lot of wood and porcelain products on site so parents should make sure the children don't get injured.

The cafe has a second and third floor, the orders are taken on the second floor.

The WIFI password is given on the receipt, make sure to keep it to yours.

Our Visit 

Located in an ordinary building in an alley, Gabaedo boasts an unordinary style and is a place that a lot of workers in Gangnam visit during the afternoon to rest. The store has the most people during holidays and weekday afternoons.

The majority of the furniture from Gabaedo is imported from England which is following Gabaedo's own beliefs.

This is the 2nd floor which is perfect to come with 2~4 friends and enjoy a peaceful comfortable rest.

You don't need to worry if you come with a lot of people as the space on the third floor is really big so you can talk with your friends and rest here. Make sure to order on the second floor as that is the only floor that takes orders.

As you can see, you can see 5 types of tea leaves that are provided on site in which you can smell and choose the tea you want. You can also order coffee if you want.

The whole cafe has a comfortable atmosphere allowing you to rest in peace with the old interior that makes you feel as if you are in a scene in an old movie.

Today I ordered the Flat White, Matcha Tea, and Earl Grey Tiramisu.

People who love coffee will know but it is hard to find good flat white. But I finally found a place where their flat white is tasty. I strongly recommend this place to everyone that likes coffee.

If you like taking photos before you eat, make sure to take photos of your order when they come out! The latte art and the desserts are really pretty to take pictures of.

Lastly, the earl grey tiramisu is really tasty as it is very moist and the cream is sweet giving it a refreshing taste when you take a bite! I strongly recommend the tiramisu~

Come out of Exit 4 of Shinnonhyeon Station.

Turn right into the alley where Coffee Bean is located. 

Turn left here. 

You will then see the Holim Building, where Gabaedo will be located on the 2nd and 3rd floor.
