Baggage Regulations per Airline | 1. Air China 

Cabin Baggage Regulation

• Number of Baggage: First Class/Business: 2, Economy: 1
• Size: Cannot be larger than 55 x 40 x 20cm
• Weight: First Class/Business: 8kg, Economy: 5kg

Checked Baggage Precautions

• Regardless of the number of baggages if the weight exceeds the limit for each ticket type there will be surcharges
• The weight of one bag cannot exceed 32kg.
• The total of the sum of the three sides (Length + Width + Height) of the checked baggage must be bigger than 60cm and under 158cm.
• If one baggage exceeds 32kg you have to divide it into 2 bags.
• If the baggage exceeds the weight limit there may be the case where you have to pay for any surcharge that occurs such as putting the baggage on a separate flight

Baggage Regulations per Airline | 2. China Southern Airlines

Cabin Baggage Regulation

• Number of baggage : First Class : 3, Other Ticket Types : 2 
• Size : The sum of the 3 lengths (L+W+H) cannot exceed 115cm.
• Weight: Maximum 5kg

Checked Baggage Precautions

• Number of Baggage: First Class : 3, Other Ticket Types : 2
• The weight of one bag cannot exceed 32kg
• The total of the sum of the three sides (Length + Width + Height) of the checked baggage must be under 158cm and the sum of the three sides (Length + Width + Height) of the checked baggage for infants without a seat must be under 115cm.
• If the baggage exceeds the weight limit there may be the case where you have to pay for any surcharge that occurs such as putting the baggage on a separate flight

Cabin Baggage Regulation

• Number of baggage : First Class : 2, Other Ticket Types : 1
• Size: 56 x 45 x 25cm
• Weight: 10kg per cabin baggage
  *A baggage that exceeds 203cm on the sum of its 3 lengths may be denied to be carried on and needs permission prior to the flight. 

Checked Baggage Precautions

• The max number of checked baggage is 2.
• The weight of one bag cannot exceed 32kg
• The total of the sum of the three sides (Length + Width + Height) of the checked baggage must be under 158cm 
• If the baggage exceeds the weight limit there may be the case where you have to pay for any surcharge(1000CNY/1PC ), that occurs such as putting the baggage on a separate flight

Cabin Baggage Regulation

• Number of baggage: Economy: 1 excluding personal handbag, Business: 2 excluding personal handbag
• Size: 30 x 20 x 40cm
• Weight: Maximum 7kg
• If the baggage exceeds in size or weight it needs to be checked in. 

Checked Baggage Precautions

• The weight of one bag cannot exceed 30kg
• If the baggage exceeds the weight limit there may be the case where you have to pay for any surcharge that occurs such as putting the baggage on a separate flight

*Shanghai Airlines shares the same regulations as China Eastern Airlines.

• Number of baggage : First Class : 2, Other Ticket Types : 1
• Size: 56 x 45 x 25cm
• Weight: 10kg per cabin baggage
  *A baggage that exceeds 203cm on the sum of its 3 lengths may be denied to be carried on and needs permission prior to the flight.

• The weight of one bag cannot exceed 32kg

• Size: The sum of the three lengths of the baggage (L+W+H) must be below 115cm. 
• Weight: Maximum 10kg

Checked Baggage Precautions

• The weight of one bag cannot exceed 32kg
• The total of the sum of the three sides (Length + Width + Height) of the checked baggage must be under 158cm and the sum of the three sides (Length + Width + Height) of the checked baggage for infants without a seat must be under 115cm.
• If the baggage exceeds the weight limit there may be the case where you have to pay for any surcharge that occurs such as putting the baggage on a separate flight

Baggage Regulations per Airline | 7. Sichuan Airlines

Cabin Baggage Regulation

• Number of baggage: Economy/Business: 1 excluding personal handbag, First Class: 2 excluding personal handbag
• Size: 20 x 40 x 55cm (115cm). Each length of the bag should not exceed 56cm, 45cm, 25cm.
• Weight : Max 5kg

Checked Baggage Precautions

• The number of checked baggage for business class is 2 and 1 for economy class.
• The weight of one bag cannot exceed 23kg
• The total of the sum of the three sides (Length + Width + Height) of the checked baggage must be under 158cm and the sum of the three sides (Length + Width + Height) of the checked baggage for infants without a seat must be under 115cm.
• If the baggage exceeds the weight limit there may be the case where you have to pay for any surcharge that occurs such as putting the baggage on a separate flight

• Number of Baggage: 1 for Economy and 2 for Business and First Class
• Size: 55 x 40 x 20cm
• Weight: Maximum 10kg per baggage

• Number of Baggage: 1 for Economy and 2 for Prestige and First Class
• Size: 55 x 40 x 20cm
• Weight: Maximum 12kg for Economy and Maximum 18kg for Prestige and First Class

Checked Baggage Precautions

• If the weight exceeds the limit for each ticket type there will be surcharges
• The total of the sum of the three sides (Length + Width + Height) of the checked baggage must be under 158-203cm
• If any of the checked baggage exceeds the given specifications there will be a surcharge or you may have to register for it to be transported through a different flight

Baggage Regulations per Airline | 10. Eastar Jet

Cabin Baggage Regulation

• Number of Baggage: 1
• Size: 55 x 40 x 20cm (22 x 16 x 20 inches)
• Weight: Maximum 7kg

Checked Baggage Precautions

• Regardless of the type of ticket if the checked baggage exceeds the weight limit there will be a surcharge
• The total of the sum of the three sides (Length + Width + Height) of the checked baggage must be under 203cm
• If any of the checked baggage exceeds the given specifications there will be a surcharge or you may have to register for it to be transported through a different flight
• Checked baggage surcharge is ₩40,000 per 5kg for pre purchases and ₩13,000 per 1kg if it is not pre purchased

Cabin Baggage Regulation

• Number of Baggage: 1 
• Size: 55 x 40 x 20cm
• Weight: Maximum 10kg per baggage

Checked Baggage Precautions

• If the weight exceeds the limit for each ticket type there will be surcharges
• The total of the sum of the three sides (Length + Width + Height) of the checked baggage must be under 203cm. 
• The weight of 1 checked baggage cannot exceed 32kg. If it does it needs to be packaged separately.
• If any of the checked baggage exceeds the given specifications there will be a surcharge or you may have to register for it to be transported through a different flight
• The surcharge price on overweight baggage is ₩14,000/$14 per kg
