In Seoul, it is hard to find good food which is delicious and reasonably priced.

「Dadam」is a popular Korean cuisine restaurant among office workers in Cheonggyecheon and Jonggak. You can taste legit home-made dishes at a cheap price. You can refill menus when you need additional portion. Next time try out Dadam which is loved by the locals.

Dadam is an Korean home cooking restaurant and you cannot order from the menu. They will serve you with daily menu. It offers side dishes, a pot of tofu soup and rice. It is very popular among nearby office workers. I often visit Dadam too!

Even if you visit earlier than the standard meal time, Dadam is still filled with people. It only serves small dishes and office workers who wish to taste mother's meal often visit the place. 

After telling the staff the number of people, they will soon guide you to your seat. The foods are served really fast. Basic serving includes seven types of dishes and one pot of soup (a bowl of rice per person. Price is ₩8,000 per person, which is very cheap in this area. 

However, even though I called it small dishes they are very nutritious. They have at least one plate of pork or fish menu. However, two dishes won't be served together. Check the menus before you take a seat.

Portion of the bulgogi was enough, and I liked the fried fish also. After few visits to the "Dadam" I'm accustomed to the taste of this fried fish!

This seasoned cockles was really amazing. Full of taste, not too spicy, and it was cooked just right. Unforgettable dish!

Other side dishes include pickled cucumber, kimchi and others. I posted some of the menus I had from my previous visits. They come in similar composition and you can expect this quality on your next visit.

In addition, my favorite menu is the egg roll. If you clear a dish you can always get a refill, and that's my favorite part about Dadam.

This tender tofu soup is not very spicy and has moderate taste. They used to serve miso soup, kimchi soup, and others but recently they only serve this tender tofu soup.

For busy office workers it is difficult to find a place where you can eat well with reasonable price. In Dadam you can have unlimited refills on dishes that taste great and healthy. It is one of locals favorite restaurant and also mine!

Look at this table full of dishes. You will be full after you have meals at Dadam. If you are tired of restaurants that target tourists only, Dadam is a local loved restaurant where you can enjoy legit Korean Food.

Walk out of Jonggak Station Exit 5, and go straight until you the Cheonggyecheon crossroads. Turn right and pass the KFC. You will see a downward passage which leads to "Dadam" on B1.
