The closer I got to the market, the stronger it smelled like an ocean. I knew from my sense of smell that I was near.

Isn't it amazing to find a place that smells like a sea in the city of Seoul?

Noryangjin Fish Market is the biggest seafood wholesale market in Seoul. Locals love coming here for the freshest, affordable fish and recently, there has been a huge increase in the number of foreign visitors.

This is a great option to add to your itinerary as you get to take a break from the city scene and get a sense of being near water while browsing various fish on display.

You might find it chaotic as you enter the market because you'll see huge arrays of touting vendors next to one another.

Try not to let the touting bother you, just walk around and enjoy the view.
