Busan Seomyeon Cafe: POTID | Photo Reviews
POTID is a magical concept theme cafe located in Busan Seomyeon.
Apart from the general cafes where you can eat coffee and dessert, there are so many theme cafes where you visit in Korea.
These unique theme cafes include board game cafes, room cafes with cozy couches, VR experience cafes, room escape cafes, etc.
Among them, POTID is a magical theme cafe that is a very rare concept not only in Korea, but all over the world.
Before entering the cafe, it's essential to take a photo at the entrance door, right?
There is a pot of magic potion positioned in each side of the entrance.
Inside the pot there is a lighting that changes continuously, which makes it seem like it's really making a potion.
As soon as I entered the cafe, there was almost no lighting on the ceiling which made me feel like I was visiting the house of the wizard.
It is decorated with magic-related props, so if you like magic or fantasy, I recommend you to visit it.
The most popular photo zone of POTID is this magician's bookcase.
The magic bookcase is full with a variety of accessories and unique props.
Wizard feathers and skulls, various potions, plants and insects used as medicines, magical formula books that seem to list the methods to make potions, etc...
The accessories in the bookshelves were so detailed, so I could feel that the staff really cared about setting up the props.
There are also mandrakes that are believed to have a power of magic and I could even sight the Monster Book of Monsters in Harry Potter.
Those of you who are fans of magic or Harry Potter might scream out so happily!
Behind the wizard's bookstore, there is a stairway that looks like this so that you can go up to the wizard's attic.
Actually, this is only a decoration and not a real stairway. I was so tricked!
Inside the shop there is an elaborate green fireplace and a ghost holding a lamp, a train running on the ceiling and a magic broom.
The two brooms looked a little different, and it looked like it would fly me away somewhere.
Look at the windows of the trains. Doesn't it look like people are riding inside?
It feels like the train is actually running, and if you get on this train, that you will arrive at the world of magic with them.
I ordered Cafe Latte, Americano, Cafe Mocha and Cappuccino. The coffee taste wasn't too bad!
The cup was not just any ordinary mug, either. The hot drink was provided in a black mug that looked like bricks.
POTID's cookies are very large and thick, so it's a must-eat dessert.
It's such a satisfying taste - all crispy, thick, moist, and full of ingredients.
The price was from ₩ 4,000 to ₩ 5,000, quite expensive for a cookie!
But after a bite of it, I felt that it was worth the price.
There are six kinds of different cookies, and every one of them were really delicious, but personally, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies were the best.
Lemon Ricotta Cheese Cake comes with ice cream.
The taste of ricotta cheese was really deep and the yogurt was very refreshing and soft.
If you are traveling in Busan Seomyeon, make a trip to the world of magic in POTID!
