Spring in Korea is a beautiful time! The weather gets warm and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. The beautiful scenery and the warm weather encourage many people to come out of hibernation and enjoy the outdoors. Spring is known as a season for couples because it is filled with many lovely spring date spots! Couples get together and enjoy a handful of date activities that are known as activities to be done in the spring.

Cherry Blossoms

In the spring, Korea's streets become covered with white and pink cherry blossoms. The streets are lined with these beautiful trees and parks are filled with people enjoying the nature. There are many Cherry Blossom Festivals that happen throughout Korea. This year the cherry blossoms are expected to be in bloom from March 26 - April 10 depending on the region. The southern regions of Korea tend to be in full bloom and regions like Gyeonggi-do and Seoul will bloom a few weeks later.

Han River is bustling in the spring. Couples like to bring homemade foods such as kimbap, sandwiches, fruits, cheese and drinks and enjoy the river and the nature.
