However, with Seoul City's Official Foreign-Language Taxi Service, this does not have an issue. This taxi service has drivers that speak English and Chinese so you do not have to worry about language barriers or communication issues!

When you make a reservation, we will provide you with information regarding the driver's name, contact number and car number in advance.
When making a reservation from Incheon/ Gimpo Airport (3,4) the driver will check the flight number and wait at the exit gate holding a sign with your name on it. Please see the photos below for examples.

Things to Keep In Mind
Airport taxi reservations must be completed at least one hour before departure.
You must enter the correct English or Korean address when booking. If the address is incorrect, the passenger is responsible, so you won't be eligible for a refund.
Please enter the correct email address when making your reservation, AND the correct LINE / Whatsapp ID as there may be an urgent situation when we need to contact you.
If your company is 4 people with too much baggage, you should reserve a large taxi.
Cancellations and refunds are only possible 3 days before departure.
After booking, your reservation will be confirmed within 24 hours and a voucher will be sent. You can check your driver's information and the taxi's license plate on your My reservation page.
If you book a taxi to go from the airport to Seoul, your taxi driver will be at the gate with a sign with your name.
Taxis usually wait 15 minutes before the departure time. Please don't be late. If you are late, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Medium-sized taxi: Max. 4 adults, max. 2 suitcases
*If there are less than 4 people in your group, you can add that many suitcases in the car.
*However, if there are 3 people in your group and you have a suitcase each or more, a medium-sized taxi may not be big enough, so we recommend you book a large taxi or an additional medium-sized taxi.
Large taxi: Max. 7 people, max. 6 suitcases
*If there are less than 7 people in your group, you can add that many suitcases in the car.
*However, if there are 6 people in your group and you have a suitcase each or more, the large taxi may not be big enough, so we recommend you book another medium-sized taxi.
