CATCHBALL CLUB is the latest trendy cafe by Konkuk University. Doesn't it look inviting just from the bright exterior? Here, you can eat donuts that are freshly baked daily starting at 5 am by a pastry chef with over 10 years of experience.

The interior is very cool with its pink lighting. Many people visit not just to try the delicious donuts, but also to take unique photos to post on social media! Why don't you check it out too?

This is the Corn Frost Donut (콘 프로스트/4,200 won), which is one of their signature donuts. It's super soft and there's corn flake topping and filling!

This is the Fruity Donut (프루티/4,200 won), another popular choice. It's very colorful and cute and filled with strawberry cream. Don't worry, it's not too sweet!

The inside of Choiga Coffee is softly lit and has a cozy atmosphere. Choiga Coffee sells some of the best tasting coffee in the Konkuk University area. 

If you miss proper coffee, I would definitely recommend this cafe. You can order coffee brewed in various ways such as hand drip, espresso, Dutch, and siphon.

Inside, you'll find a very classy vibe with many cute and unique decorations filling the cafe. The wooden decor makes everything appear very calm and there were lots of people inside chatting with friends or doing work.

Not only do all the drinks and dessert taste delicious, but the presentation is just as beautiful as well! We ordered an americano (hot 4,500 won/ice 5,000 won), Jeju green tea latte (6,000 won), and earl grey pound cake (5,000 won).

Cafe Armoire
카페 아르무아

Cafe Armoire is famous for being owned by Super Junior's Yesung. It received a ton of attention before opening.

It's also a very special cafe because to enter, you must go through what looks like closet doors.

The antique-style furniture gives the cafe a vintage vibe.

There are three floors, with the third being a rooftop. The main seating area is on the second floor, which features a long table decorated with candles and faded sheet music under subtle lights, adding to the cafe's unique atmosphere. 

It's probably most known for their famous cheese-shaped cheesecake (6,800 won). You might've seen this on social media, so be sure to try it when you visit! We also ordered the lemon ade (6,000 won) and Vienna latte (6,000 won).

Index, on the 3rd floor of Common Ground, is both a bookstore and cafe. 

A good thing about the creation of Common Ground is that many innovative and sophisticated spaces like Index have popped up as well.

Once you enter the sliding door, you'll be impressed by the unique interior.

It's a fun bookstore where you can enjoy your time just looking at the covers of all the different kinds of books without having to buy them.

You'll be so absorbed looking at all the different illustrations and writings that you won't even notice time is passing by.

You can pick up a book you like, order a coffee, and spend time reading on the second floor!

The cafe also has its own special vibe.

Explore Common Ground, then stop by Index for some good books and coffee. The drinks range from 4,500 to 5,500 won and they also have some cakes available too.

KiLab Board Game Cafe is a very popular board game cafe in the area.

To enter, just go down the stairs to the basement level. Each person must order a drink. They have many types of drinks, from coffees to juices, so finding a drink that suits each person's taste won't be a problem. The drinks range from 3,800 won to 5,500 won.

Inside, you'll see that the cafe is split into different rooms so you can play games with your friends privately. There's also a huge variety of games available, so you definitely won't be bored!

Once you're done, you pay depending on how many hours you spent there. It's a very affordable way to have fun.
