Instead of those mega grocery stores, there is one place where Koreans shop almost every day.

It's called Daiso.

Daiso has almost everything you need. Daiso sells plenty of beauty, grocery, bathroom, stationary and pet items and more for less than one dollar. It's a true shopping haven for those who love to shop for less.

2018 Daiso Spring Shopping Update

The representative Korean Dollar Shop brand Daiso launches a series of special products at the beginning of each season.

In this post, I will introduce you Daiso's new spring-themed products. You can see the pretty cherry blossom prints on the plates, mugs, and stationery items.

As soon as you enter the store, you will be able to see a whole section of spring-themed items. This limited mugs with strawberry prints on are, of course, no exception! 

Cute strawberry mugs come in two designs. You can choose between the large mug with a lid (great for drinking milk or hot tea) or a small cup for coffee. Whichever you choose, the strawberry mug cups should be on your must buy list from Daiso.

My favorite spring-themed item was this one. ✿ Cherry Blossom-printed tumbler cups✿ You can use these reusable cups to reduce the use of plastic. You can use this mug everywhere you go! The prints are so cute!

The first item from the cherry blossom series is this plastic tumbler. Starbucks and other coffee franchise brands' also release new tumblers with cherry blossom prints every spring, but those ones are usually expensive. You can still catch up with the trend by purchasing this inexpensive, cute cherry blossom tumblers. This item is definitely a steal! You should include this item on your list of Korean must-shop items ✍ (write it down, guys!)

 Take a look at these cute cherry blossom socks! Each pair costs less than 2 USD and will make a great souvenir for your friends. I put in more than five pairs into my basket. They were so cute!! ✿ 

All the spring items are available for a limited time, so make sure you buy the things you want before they go out of stock.

Last year, Daiso had a collaboration with Disney and sold special crystal ballpoint pens with Disney mini-figures for a limited time. I grabbed a couple of them, but left them out at the counter and didn’t buy them. I went back to get them a few days later, and they were already out of stock T.T 

This year, Daiso released new designs. Stock up on these pens when you find them in store. Hurry up and grab this beautiful beauty and beast-themed crystal ballpoint pen. This pen will add a lovely vide to your office.

In some Daiso locations, you can find a name tag printing machines. Just follow the steps and you can easily print out little name tags in either Korean or English! 

It only costs 1000 Won! This is also a great souvenir. I've done printing name tags for myself several times.  I put them on my textbooks, stationery items, and personal belongings! 

If you don't understand how to use the machine in Korean, don't worry! Simply ask the clerk for help!

Some larger Daiso stores will also have these Korean traditional souvenirs. If you are clueless about what to bring back, don't worry~ Simply come to Daiso, and you can save a lot on the souvenirs. You will find many stationery items with Korean traditional designs and patterns. These items are cute and unique!

These notebooks, postcards, and coasters are suitable for gifts! The price ranges from 1000 to 3000 Won. They are really cheap!

This year, Daiso has many series of products with nature-themed designs.

The same design is used for many stationery items too. For instance, you can buy a letter pad, tape, pen, etc with the same design.

Also, you can find the same prints on the dishes, mugs, etc.! The mug is so pretty, isn't it? ᅲᅲ

This whole section is devoted to small makeup pouches and wallets! Hehe~ You can find also pretty foldable shopping bags here!

There is also a small travel bags next to this pouch area! You can find a variety of different items in Daiso! 

It's often hard to store the used makeup sponges. Many Koreans use this cute makeup sponge holder. I also use this holder and it is super handy for storing makeup sponges. My sponges do not get dirty, and I know exactly where to find it. So it’s so convenient to have this cute storage item that looks like an egg  >  <

In addition, Daiso recently launched this "My Friend Hello Bear" series. All the items in this line are super cute! If you are a big fan of white polar bears, I would say go for them! >  < 

Check out this lunch box with the Hello Bear character on it... So cute!!

This Hello Bear mug was also super cute! You can get this mug for only 1,000 won. Such a steal!

The Hello Bear Series also have plastic water bottles! 

This looks great for outings! I also love working out, and I can use this cup to hold drinking water >  <

In Summer, you can put this cooler bag in the freezer and use it as an ice pad. In winter, you can use this as a heating pad after microwaving it for a few minutes. This item is very practical ᅲᅲᅲᅲᅲᅲ

I always bring a small mirror with me whenever I go out!

 You can decorate your diary with these colorful tapes. Some Koreans like to collect paper tapes in different designs and patterns! Stock up on these tapes when you find them!
