The 2020 Tokyo Olympics are in full swing and it's not just the athletic abilities of these contestants that have caught our interest. 

Being in peak physical condition to compete obviously comes with the side effect of looking pretty fit.

We've compiled a list for you of the most swoon-worthy Korean athletes, plus their IGs in case you feel the need to investigate further.

Judo

Kim Won-jin 김원진

Kim Won-jin is a judoka who has represented South Korea in the 60 kg class at the Asia Judo Championships, Grand Slam, as well as the Olympics, and even won the gold medal at the 2021 Judo World Masters. 

His chances looked good for the 2020 Olympics, but unfortunately he was defeated in the quarter finals.

Despite not earning a medal, he has attracted a lot of attention because of his good looks.

We'll definitely be rooting for him in the next Olympics in Paris!

Gwak Dong-han 곽동한

Gwak Dong-han took home the bronze medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics in the judo competition.

His strong physique has been a hot topic for discussion, with many proclaiming him to have the ideal figure.

Though he has previously won medals in multiple championships, this time he only made it to the top 16.

Born in Japan, he moved to Korea as an adult and has won numerous awards.

This year he got the chance to proudly bear the Korean flag at the Nippon Budokan arena.

Soccer

Even before the Olympics, there was a media buzz about Jeong Seung-won, a player for the Daegu Football Club.

He has gained the title of "face genius of soccer" for his handsome looks and certain star quality he seems to possess both on and off the field.

Taekwondo

Lee Dae-hoon 이대훈

World class Taekwondo star, Lee Dae-hoon, won the silver medal in 2012 and bronze in 2016 at the Olympic Games. 

He gained instant popularity for his resemblance to EXO's Chanyeol.

This year, however, he was not able to place in the games and also announced his retirement, expressing regret that he was never able to claim the coveted Olympic gold medal.

Following his announcement many were upset, but his wife spoke out in a letter posted to social media in which she expressed how proud she is of him and thanking him for his hard work and dedication.

Fencing

Oh Sang-uk 오상욱

Oh Sang-uk is one of the top fencers worldwide, coming in first place in many competitions and was a strong candidate for the gold medal at this year's Olympics.

While he lost in the individual fencing quarter finals, he redeemed himself in the team fencing category where he and his team mates won the gold medal.

Rugby

While rugby isn't the most popular sport for Koreans, Chang Yong-heung certainly drew a lot of attention with his muscular build and handsome looks.

Although the team was defeated in the 11th and 12th matches, the team did manage to break records for Korean rugby.

Baseball
